Nearly
all vegetables have Vitamin B but no Vitamin B12
as this is only found in Meat, Fish or Dairy foods.
B12 is also found in Algae so here lies the problem
for people who are Vegetarians. They would need to eat
the Algae or take supplements
to stop themselves from becoming Vitamin B12 Deficient
(see why worry for more details on Vitamin B12
Deficiency).
The
Foods Standards Agency Recommendations
You should be able to get all the vitamin B12 you need by eating a varied and
balanced diet. If you can not get Vitamin B12 via a natural source then taking
2 mg or less of vitamin B12 supplements a day is unlikely to cause any harm.
To
get this vital vitamin in your body you can order vitamin B12 directly from
our Amazon Associates store by clicking on the menu to the left called "health
products" or click
here.
